By post, fax, or email:
To register for an AAS Program by post, fax or email please read and complete both pages of the
AAS Registration Form.pdf and return it to the AAS Office along with the total program tuition. Upon receipt of this registration form helpful program information will be sent to you. Note: If you fax in your registration form it is highly recommended that you call into the office to confirm receipt of the fax.
By phone:
To register for an AAS Program by phone please review the AAS tuition policies listed on the registration form, then contact the AAS office during normal business hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Alaska Standard Time. Full payment will be required at the time of registration. Upon completed registration helpful program information will be sent to you.
Payment:
We accept tuition payment by credit cards; Visa, Master Card and Discover, checks, and cash. If full payment is not available at the time of registration we are willing to set up payment plans with the final payment made prior to the start date of the program.
Scholarship Funds: The Alaska Avalanche School has a scholarship fund created to provide financial assistance to experienced Alaskan travelers whom without financial assistance might otherwise find it difficult to participate in field backcountry avalanche programs. Since AAS receives many applicants for this program, it is encouraged that potential students evaluate their situation and only apply to the scholarship program if they truly need financial assistance. Please contact us for more information or to obtain a scholarship application. If you would like to make a contribution to this fund please contact us.
